Introducing the Indus Weavers Foulard Collection
There are colours we remember without trying.
The warmth of first light. Mist settling over green landscapes. Earth softened beneath the afternoon sun. A sky saturated at dusk before disappearing into midnight blue.
For Autumn Winter 2026, these fleeting moments of nature inspired a new expression of Indus Weavers: the Pashmina Foulard.
The idea began with a desire to bring the softness and craftsmanship of Pashmina into a smaller, more versatile expression. Something delicate enough to become part of everyday dressing, yet considered enough to retain the heritage and handcraft at the heart of Indus Weavers.
Crafted in Kashmir and interpreted through the contemporary perspective of our Milanese home, the collection brings together Kashmiri soul and European expression.
From Last Light to Afterglow, before the day settles into Midnight.
From First Light to Midnight, nature became the palette.
First Light begins in soft ombré mauve-pink and green, recalling the landscape as it quietly emerges at daybreak. Morning Mist moves through earth and foliage softened by the morning mist, while Last Light warms into yellow, apricot and rose, capturing the fleeting colors of sunset.
As the day fades, Afterglow deepens into embroidered burgundy. Finally, Midnight Garden closes the journey in midnight blue, with tiny flowers and leaves appearing like points of light against the night.

From Fibre to Foulard
Behind their lightness is a process shaped by time and the human hand.
The journey begins with the selection of fine Pashmina fibres. Once sorted, the fibres are spun by hand on the charkha, slowly becoming the delicate yarn from which each foulard begins. From fibre selection and hand spinning to dyeing, handloom weaving and finishing, the process carries forward the traditional craftsmanship at the heart of Pashmina.

For the ombré foulards, colour begins before the weaving. The yarn is dyed before weaving using an ikat technique to create its graduating ombré shades, allowing the colours to blend naturally within the weave as the fine Pashmina is woven.
These smaller pieces also called for their own approach to weaving. The artisans prepared a different handloom specifically for the measured format of the foulards, where the dyed yarn slowly becomes Pashmina cloth, thread by thread. The finishing then returns to the hand, completed with delicate tassels.

For Afterglow and Midnight Garden, another layer of craft follows. Created as single, one of one pieces, their solid Pashmina grounds are individually embroidered by hand with flowers, leaves and botanical sprigs inspired by nature.
From the charkha to the loom, from embroidery to the final tassel, the artisan's hand remains present throughout.

Nature changes throughout the day, and the foulard is designed to move with it.
Its 90 × 90 cm proportions invite different ways of wearing, from the neck and hair to the shoulders or a favourite bag. There is no single interpretation, only the one that becomes your own.
