PAISLEY is a handwoven Pashmina shawl crafted in Srinagar, Kashmir, from 100% pure Himalayan Pashmina, delicately detailed with traditional Sozni paisley motifs across all four corners.
Against the soft ivory ground, multicoloured paisley motifs are embroidered entirely by hand by skilled Kashmiri artisans. The restrained placement of the Sozni embroidery preserves the simplicity of the Pashmina while introducing colour, detail and the character of traditional Kashmiri needlework.
Featherlight, breathable and naturally warm, PAISLEY has an effortless softness suited to everyday wear, travel and elegant evening layering. Crafted with precision and patience rather than mass-produced, each piece carries subtle variations that make it uniquely its own.

Where is it crafted?
Every IndusWeavers Pashmina is meticulously handwoven and finished in Kashmir by skilled artisans, preserving generations of traditional craftsmanship. We work directly with our artisans, honouring their expertise and ensuring authenticity at every stage.
How can I recognise the handmade details?
The beauty of handcrafted Pashmina lies in its individuality. Subtle variations in the weave, texture and colour are natural characteristics of traditional handloom craftsmanship, making every piece unique.
Depending on the design, you may discover intricate Sozni hand embroidery, traditional Kani weaving or other heritage techniques, each reflecting the remarkable skill and patience of Kashmiri artisans.
Can I test its authenticity at home?
We do not recommend home authenticity tests, such as burning fibres or relying on the ring test, as these methods can damage delicate Pashmina and produce misleading results.
At IndusWeavers, we believe authenticity begins with transparency. If you would like to learn more about the materials, craftsmanship or origin of a particular piece, our team will be delighted to assist you.
