KAMAL, named after the lotus — India’s national flower and a symbol of purity, beauty and renewal, is a handwoven Pashmina scarf featuring vibrant lotus motifs embroidered entirely by hand.
Crafted from 100% pure Pashmina in a rich indigo tone, the scarf is detailed with multicoloured lotus motifs worked in traditional Sozni style in Srinagar, Kashmir. Each stitch reflects the intricacy of traditional Kashmiri craftsmanship while bringing colour and character to the deep indigo ground.
Lightweight, breathable and exceptionally soft, KAMAL has a featherlight drape that makes it effortless to wear. More than a decorative motif, the lotus gives the scarf a sense of story and cultural meaning, carrying both warmth and symbolism.

Where is it crafted?
Every IndusWeavers Pashmina is meticulously handwoven and finished in Kashmir by skilled artisans, preserving generations of traditional craftsmanship. We work directly with our artisans, honouring their expertise and ensuring authenticity at every stage.
How can I recognise the handmade details?
The beauty of handcrafted Pashmina lies in its individuality. Subtle variations in the weave, texture and colour are natural characteristics of traditional handloom craftsmanship, making every piece unique.
Depending on the design, you may discover intricate Sozni hand embroidery, traditional Kani weaving or other heritage techniques, each reflecting the remarkable skill and patience of Kashmiri artisans.
Can I test its authenticity at home?
We do not recommend home authenticity tests, such as burning fibres or relying on the ring test, as these methods can damage delicate Pashmina and produce misleading results.
At IndusWeavers, we believe authenticity begins with transparency. If you would like to learn more about the materials, craftsmanship or origin of a particular piece, our team will be delighted to assist you.
