Inspired by the stillness of a Kashmiri night, deep blue above, nature continuing quietly below.
Handcrafted in Kashmir, Midnight Garden pairs a deep midnight blue Pashmina ground with delicate botanical embroidery in soft pink and green. Scattered flowers, leaves and sprigs emerge across the surface like small points of light, recalling stars appearing against a dark night sky while keeping the piece rooted in the natural landscape of Kashmir.
Created as a single, one-of-one piece, each motif is embroidered by hand, bringing the embroidery tradition at the heart of Indus Weavers into the intimate proportions of the foulard. The fine Pashmina is woven on a handloom specially set to the proportions of the foulard, giving it its lightweight softness and fluid drape, before being completed by hand with delicate tassels.
Designed for Autumn Winter, Midnight Garden brings Kashmiri craft into a contemporary everyday wardrobe, worn around the neck, over the shoulders or as a quiet accent of colour.
