MONALISA is a handwoven Pashmina shawl crafted in Srinagar, Kashmir, bringing together Kalamkari hand painting and intricate Aari Sozni embroidery across a soft cream ground.
Woven from 100% Pashmina, the shawl is hand painted with floral and heritage-inspired motifs in rich shades of brown, red, purple and blue using traditional pigments. The composition is then embellished with delicate Aari Sozni needlework by artisan Shaukat, completing a process that takes approximately 24 months from weaving to final embroidery. A hand-embroidered Pashmina pocket square accompanies the shawl.
