Inspired by the brief hour at dusk when the changing sky becomes saturated in one extraordinary color.
Handcrafted in Kashmir, Afterglow pairs a rich burgundy ground with delicate hand-embroidered floral motifs inspired by the Kashmiri landscape. A more intricate botanical border frames the piece, bringing the embroidery heritage of Indus Weavers into the intimate proportions of the foulard.
Created as a one-of-one piece, the fine Pashmina is woven on a handloom specially set to the proportions of the foulard, then embroidered and finished by hand with delicate tassels. The artisan’s touch remains present throughout, giving each detail its individual character while preserving the softness and fluid drape of the Pashmina.
Lightweight and created for Autumn Winter, Afterglow brings Kashmiri craftsmanship into the everyday, worn around the neck, draped over the shoulders or carried as a rich accent of colour.
The colour left behind when daylight begins to disappear.
