Inspired by the first light of morning, when the landscape begins to emerge in softened Ombré pink and green.

Handwoven in Kashmir, First Light brings together muted mauve and soft foliage green, drawing from the first colours of the Kashmiri landscape as morning light begins to settle across the earth, mountains and trees.

The yarn is dyed in graduating shades before reaching the loom, creating a soft ikat ombré transition woven directly into the Pashmina.The fine Pashmina is then woven on a handloom specially set to the proportions of the foulard, creating its characteristic lightness, exceptionally soft touch and fluid drape. Subtle variations within the weave preserve the individuality of its handmade origin, while delicate tassels complete the piece by hand.

Created for Autumn Winter, its softened palette and lightweight warmth make First Light an effortless everyday layer, worn around the neck, over knitwear or draped across the shoulders.
