MIELE is a handwoven Pashmina shawl crafted in Kashmir from 100% pure Kashmiri Pashmina, defined by an ivory ground and the subtle metallic shimmer of traditional Tilla zari embroidery.
Fine metallic Tilla work extends along all four borders, introducing delicate luminosity without overpowering the natural beauty of the ivory base. Each shawl is carefully hand-finished by skilled Kashmiri artisans, with subtle variations that reflect the handmade process.
Measuring 100 × 200 cm, MIELE offers generous coverage while its soft, medium-weight handloom weave remains breathable and warm. Its understated metallic finish makes it particularly suited as a bridal Pashmina wrap, winter wedding shawl or elegant evening layer, balancing traditional Kashmiri artistry with quiet refinement.

Where is it crafted?
Every IndusWeavers Pashmina is meticulously handwoven and finished in Kashmir by skilled artisans, preserving generations of traditional craftsmanship. We work directly with our artisans, honouring their expertise and ensuring authenticity at every stage.
How can I recognise the handmade details?
The beauty of handcrafted Pashmina lies in its individuality. Subtle variations in the weave, texture and colour are natural characteristics of traditional handloom craftsmanship, making every piece unique.
Depending on the design, you may discover intricate Sozni hand embroidery, traditional Kani weaving or other heritage techniques, each reflecting the remarkable skill and patience of Kashmiri artisans.
Can I test its authenticity at home?
We do not recommend home authenticity tests, such as burning fibres or relying on the ring test, as these methods can damage delicate Pashmina and produce misleading results.
At IndusWeavers, we believe authenticity begins with transparency. If you would like to learn more about the materials, craftsmanship or origin of a particular piece, our team will be delighted to assist you.
