Legacy Woven in Time

For generations, Kashmir has been home to one of the world's most remarkable textile traditions. Every Indus Weavers Pashmina begins with exceptional natural fibres, skilled artisans and techniques refined over centuries. WhereĀ ItĀ AllĀ Began

Growing up, summerĀ holidaysĀ oftenĀ meant traveling to the northern regions ofĀ IndiaĀ with family.Ā ThoseĀ journeys introducedĀ founderĀ Payal AggarwalĀ to the landscapes,Ā traditions and quiet beautyĀ that wouldĀ laterĀ shapeĀ theĀ story of Indus Weavers.Ā Pashmina wasĀ neverĀ reserved forĀ specialĀ occasions,Ā itĀ was simplyĀ part ofĀ everyday life,Ā wornĀ through changing seasonsĀ and passed naturallyĀ from one generation to the next.

OverĀ theĀ years, carrying aĀ PashminaĀ became second nature. BeforeĀ leavingĀ home,Ā there was oneĀ familiar question her family would often ask:

"Where is your Pashmina?"

What once felt likeĀ anĀ ordinary habitĀ gradually becameĀ aĀ lastingĀ connectionĀ toĀ Kashmir'scraftsmanship and heritage.

YearsĀ later, after making MilanĀ home, PayalĀ sawanĀ opportunityĀ to bringĀ thatĀ heritageĀ toĀ a wideraudience.Ā CombiningĀ herĀ background in design withĀ a deep appreciation forĀ craftsmanship,Ā she foundedĀ Indus WeaversĀ toĀ bridgeĀ theĀ timeless artistry ofĀ KashmirĀ withĀ theĀ understated eleganceĀ ofĀ EuropeanĀ living.
